Turning off two-step verification in your WhatsApp Manager is a required step before you can migrate your phone number to the Aelyst WhatsApp Business API.
Only users with an Admin access level can perform this action.
Guide to turn off WhatsApp number two-step verification
- Log in to your Meta Business Manager. Go to WhatsApp Accounts, select your account, open the Settings tab, and click WhatsApp Manager.
- In the left side menu, click Phone numbers.
- Click the settings icon on the right.
- Select Two-step verification, then click the Turn off two-step verification button.
- In the pop-up window, click OK. An email with instructions to turn off two-step verification will be sent to you.
- Click the link in your email to turn off two-step verification for your number.
Once two-step verification is turned off, proceed with the next step of the migration process to the Aelyst WhatsApp Business API.
